Ginealar Weyr

Every Weyr needs a few rules to keep it under control, and this one is no different, although with our (hopefully) very relaxed and informal atmosphere, the rules will merely be for everyone's benefit.

1. Ruatha and Benden are off limits. No roleplaying there, and no personas from there.

2. The only dragon colours that will be allowed are gold, bronze, brown, blue and green. Ruth was unique, and will remain as such.

3. You can't use any of Anne's characters, only those you have created yourself.

4. You must have a basic knowledge of Pern, and roleplay your character as such. There will be no fairies, elves or magic. Dragons are incredible enough. There will also be no aliens visiting, or crossovers with other books. To play, you must have read at least one of the Pern books.

5. Do not ever use someone else's character without asking. This includes even implying they did something that has not been stated in an earlier post. If their owner says they walked across the room for example, it is safe for your character to notice that they did so, and approach them, but not to write what they did next.

6. You must have permission for a gold or bronze dragon. Generally, bronzes will be approved, but we are not accepting golds at this point in time. If you want a gold, please create a Candidate to stand for a gold egg at a clutch.

7. No flaming. Also, do not do something that you know will upset or hurt another member. I've had bad enough experiences with this to get very angry with anyone who does it to someone else.

8. Boys Impress bronzes, browns, blues and greens. Girls Impress golds, greens and occasionally blues. No exceptions. I won't be allowing girls to Impress browns like some other Weyrs do.

9. Have fun.
